Believe it or not, this was the scene from the Prada show, taken from the bleachers where top fashion types were crammed sardine-style. Was it worth it? Mais oui, always–but several editors (you remain nameless, dears) were sufficiently frustrated enough with the crowding to walk out in a huff.

When Sandy’s not in town, who earns the honored seat next to Ingrid Sischy? Patrizio Bertelli (left), of course. The Prada honcho spent the pre-show moments chatting up the Vanity Fair masthead-topper; we wonder if he asked the international editor what she’s working on these days?

Le tout Milan awaits Peter Dundas’ design debut at Emilio Pucci tommorow with bated breath, and the stellar invites are doing a fine job at buzz-building. This looks straightfoward, but it’s made entirely of leather. Leather chez Pucci? We are in Italy, after all–consider Chic intrigued

The C’N'C Costume National show started late enough that several American editors had to abdicate in the name of Giorgio Armani, but in true Ennio Capasa fashion, that show went on!
