Subscription copies of the August Vogue arrived today, and as Chic flipped through, we couldn’t help but notice the great ads: Calvin Klein Collection, Bottega Veneta, Maybelline, Marc Jacobs, and…The September Issue. Curiously, we also spotted such ads in July Vanity Fair. Those pages are so pricey! We’re glad to hear this indie film has a sufficient marketing budget…

Allow us to introduce the latest addition to our arsenal of surrealist home objects: The Book of Tissue. It’s certainly chicer than your cardboard Kleenex box, non? The arts and crafts wheels are turning in our heads…think Chic Report can replicate this with that stack of old French Vogues we refuse to recycle?
