Air New Zealand Eschews Marc-esque Uniforms

Air New Zealand hostesses are none too happy with their new in-flight uniforms–which, they complained, make them look like “drag queens”–but Chic Report finds them fab. With that pink and that print, we were immediately reminded of Marc’s Fall 2009 collection (well, just un peu toned down), with colors named by the airline as twilight pink, godzone green and sky blue. When the hostessed complained, the airline listened, and they’re now designing more innocuous uniforms, but Chic is just sad. Couldn’t we all use a bit more flair in the air?
