Whether it is first thing in the morning or the midnight hour, true beauty junkies look fresh-faced at all hours. The crowd at Redbook’s 2009 MVP Beauty Awards  Breakfast Thursday was perfectly painted as they indulged in plates of celebratory bacon and fêted the crème de la crème of beauty goodies with Redbook’s editor-in-chief, Stacy Morrison, and beauty director Cheryl Kramer Kaye. The lighthearted award ceremony toasted the top 53 picks from routine staples like CoverGirl LashBlast to tools like the Centrix Q-Zone ultra quiet hairdryer. “Today really says something about beauty and what it can do, because it’s 8 A.M. and nobody looks tired!” Morrison observed. “I’m such a beauty addict. I once got caught with 23 nude lipglosses in my purse. I knew I had a lot swimming around in there, but 23?” Kramer Kaye admitted she can’t compete. “Stacy is the queen. I mean, I have a lot of glosses at home, but never 23 on my person! I swear by morning products like Burt’s Bees body wash. It’s a great peppermint slap in the face in the morning…in the good way!” For more information on the all the beauty loot, visit www.redbookmag.com/mvpawards.
