The last time she performed MTV’s Music Video Awards, the pop princess was lambasted for her “fatty” body and so-so performance. But despite that, MTV is willing to let Britney Spears OPEN the 2008 VMAs. Says the mother of two, “MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for: Britney Spears is back in a skimpy two-piece bathing suit. This must mean that therapy’s working, the meds are fantastic and everything is falling right back into place.
