The uptownies can’t help themselves when it comes to Roger Vivier–in more ways than one. Aside from the relentless pursuit of those thorn-heeled, rosette-endowed stilettos, the real love is showered upon the brand’s creative director, Bruno Frisoni, who greeted the lot of them (even honorary UES-er Dr. Lisa Airan, who resides in Gramercy) last night at the Vivier boutique on Madison Avenue. Amanda Brooks (above, with Frisoni) hosted the soiree, which drew Jamee Gregory, Hamish Bowles, Virginia Smith, Celerie Kemble, Amy Astley and Samantha Boardman. Next up? Frisoni’s PA at Bergdorf Goodman; he’ll be there between 3 and 5 p.m. this afternoon.
