Capasa’s Costume Language!

The C’N'C Costume National show started late enough that several American editors had to abdicate in the name of Giorgio Armani, but in true Ennio Capasa fashion, that show went on! His inspiration sheet, left on every chair, is often filled with gems found in translation. Here, his inspiration for Fall 2009:
“The Plug Generation’s pleasant plundering of the ’80s. Innocent unawareness. Their eyes erase the boundaries between day and night, disco and street, lights and colours. Urban bikers sit well on the present and launch into the future like a spark.”
