CFDA’s Most Dramatic Showdown!

As soon as the 2009 CFDA Award nominees were announced last night, Chic Report’s mind went racing to who we were rooting for, who deserves it the most, and which category will make for the most dramatic showdown. Without a doubt, this season it’s the Swarovski Award for Womenswear that will keep us all on our toes until the big awards ceremony. In one corner, there’s 2008 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award winner Alexander Wang…but his stiff competition includes Michelle Obama faves Thakoon Panichgul and Jason Wu. We can’t wait to see who will take the prize, but until then, we want to know: who’s your pick?
