This is Tim Hamilton’s second straight nomination in Swarovski Award for Menswear category. Given that he only launched in 2006, Hamilton makes for an unlikely veteran. Could this year be his?
Where were you when you found out you were nominated?
With a close friend having lunch.
How did you celebrate?
I haven’t celebrated yet. But all the flowers are fun.
Who will you take to the awards?
My sister.
Who are you most excited to meet?
I hope to say hi to Dries [Van Noten].
Where do you want to be in 10 years?
A long vacation would be ideal.
What will you do if you win?
Either way, I’ll be with close friends and go out on the town. Meaning one drink–then back to work early the next day.
Who would win in a fight–Thom Browne or Tom Ford?
