Chic Exclusive: Meet Karl’s New Stars!

The blogosphere’s been buzzing about the new Martin Scorsese-directed Chanel commercial currently shooting in New York, but Chic’s got your scoop. The crew has been spotted at Moto in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn, but they’ve also taken the production underground, Chic Report has learned–shooting scenes in the subway in midtown Manhattan. And though the model guessing game has brought up such names as Lara Stone, current campaign faces Freja Beha Erichsen and Claudia Schiffer, and Karl fave Baptiste Giabiconi, we’re happy to report that the lucky two are none other than French actor Gaspard Ulliel (who made an appearance at the Chanel Fall 2009 RTW show in Paris last March, above left) and Canadian model Ingrid Schram (above right, at the Chanel Fine Jewelry-sponsored Winter Wonderland ball at the New York Botanical Garden in December 2008). One face missing from the filming festivities (which, we hear, are going on all week)? Mr. Lagerfeld himself. We suppose if you’re going to leave someone in charge, Scorsese’s not a bad bet.
