Chic Holiday Gift Guide Series: Valentino’s Beloved Pugs

You’ve checked off your Christmas list for mom, dad, boss, beau…but what of the chiens in your vie? Specifically, Valentino’s pooches–Molly, Milton, Monty, Margo, Maude, and Maggie. They may have an acclaimed documentary following their every pant (more or less), but Chic Report certainly doesn’t expect these pups to go gift-less for the holidays.
1.  This 60” by 80” throw, $199, might just be big enough for all six dogs to snuggle on, and in the most luxurious cashmere, they’ll feel perfectly pampered. Of course, it’s available in plenty of colors, but really, what could be better than Valentino red?
2.  You don’t expect these dogs to chew on an old rope, do you? Only the chicest chaussure, $3.99 at Petsmart, will do…
3. Molly, Milton, Monty, Margo, Maude, and Maggie surely have very delicate palates, not suited for standard-issue kibble. We would give them Canine Caviar dog food, $27 for a 12-can box (maybe with a bit of actual caviar for dessert)–in the holistic gourmet duck flavor.
4. Because until Val starts making pup-wear, they’ll have to settle for something–and you better not even think about putting them in any old mall brand. Fellow Italian Roberto Cavalli will have to do, and this goose-down puffer jacket, $213, is just the thing for winter. Those villas can get a bit drafty!
5. Nothing would make the pugs happier than that little gold man for daddy. Of course, Matt Tyrnauer might try to snag it for his own mantle, but everyone knows who the real stars of the show are, non?
