Christie’s doesn’t need to prove its flawless taste, but everyone appreciates the gesture. To thank chicsters like Jennifer Creel, Ivanka Trump, Brian Reyes and Gillian Miniter for attending a preview of the house’s latest estate jewelry collection that went on the block, Christie’s sent along gifts of The Collector’s Diary & Directory by Mrs. John L. Strong.  The leather-bound book lists top auctions around the world, as well as travel information for the artistically-relevant cities. Equally noteworthy: Starting today and going until December 24, Mrs. John L Strong is hosting tea, from 2 to 6 p.m. in the atelier at 699 Madison. All purchases made during this time will receive a 20% discount.
