Correspondence We Actually Received: Blogger Mash-Up Edition

Between Interview interviewing Garance Doré and StyleCaster interviewing Jane Aldridge about Tavi scoring a cover of Pop, we’re just getting confused. Who wants to interview Chic? Anybody?
StyleCasting with Jane Aldridge: A rare interview with the girl behind the blog
With an individual sense of style befitting a fashion industry veteran, Jane Aldridge is positioned to be the next authoritative voice of the fashion world. Her site, Sea of Shoes, is a source of creative inspiration for the stylishly in-the-know, featuring a collection of shoes that would put Imelda Marcos to shame. Jane is never pretentious but rather humbled and appreciative of the opportunities her blog has provided her. She has been featured in Vogue, Teen Vogue, Lucky and an endless number of other publications, though rarely interviewed on video. Jane sat down with StyleCaster to discuss what will happen to magazine, living in Texas, her favorite blogs and competition among fashion bloggers.

We’re all really supportive of each other, because ya know-more power to the bloggers! Its so great that Tavi’s on the cover of pop. I mean, wow- that’s incredible!

I’m attracted to things, people and places that are surreal, opulent and dark.
On getting rid of shoes:
I would never ever dream of getting rid of my shoes.

We met in Tokyo and he’s a super cool guy and he loves fashion too. We just broke up, but we’re still friends.

Its up to me to create my own little fashion world. Living in complete isolation almost, has given complete freedom.
