Great minds think alike—or, at least, chic ones do. After Monday’s Thakoon show at Eyebeam on West 21st Street, the cream of the fashion crop went for a bite to eat at Empire Diner on 10th Ave. Chic Report spotted an ELLE table, complete with Robbie Myers, Joe Zee, Kate Lanphear, Anne Slowey, and Joann Pailey; Kate Betts, Julie Gilhart, and Vogue’s Sally Singer and Mark Holgate—who browsed through a copy of their trusty Daily at their table.

    When Chic saw Anna Wintour at Gaultier, we nearly fainted. Wintour, alas, it wasn’t–Carol Smith, senior vice president and chief brand officer of the Elle Group, is a dead-ringer with that bob, non? The publisher filled in Robbie’s usual place next to Joe Zee.
