Footwear Bliss from Maryam and Marjan Malakpour

Backstage at Elise Øverland, Chic ran into stylist Maryam Malakpour (above, with darling daughter Sophie) wearing a pair of delightfully cozy flats–a far cry from the Alejandro Ingelmo platforms she used on Øverland’s runway. Turns out that Malakpour has partnered with her sister Marjan Malakpour on a line of such slippers called Newbarks, which launched exclusively on Net-a-porter.com in August and have been selling swimmingly.
