Grace Kelly’s Jewels, Yours for the Viewing

Even a casual fan of Rear Window harbors a deep and abiding respect for Grace Kelly’s ability to wear clothes (and jewels) better than the rest. Those of you headed to Japan may experience a rare opportunity to see her jewels, as Cartier is unveiling an exhibition at Tokyo’s National Museum that features 250 items created for the Monaco royal family. (Cartier became the official jeweler to the Principality in 1920). The pieces on display were lent by Kelly’s children Prince Albert, Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie, and they will be displayed until May 31.
