Louise Brooks may have been the trailblazer, but such illustrious names as Katie Holmes, Rihanna, Victoria Beckham and Anna Wintour have adopted the iconic cut ever since. That’s right–the bob. The Telegraph today celebrates the haircut, which is celebrating its 100th birthday this year, with a history of the cut. From “1920s women who wore heavy make-up, drank excessively and defied the social mores of the time” to 60s icon Mary Quant, chicettes have been and will be sporting this style, no doubt, for the next 100 years.
