It Takes a Chanel Village!

Things got positively bucolic during the Chanel show this morning . The scent of hay filled the the Grand Palais, as the venue was transformed into a shabby-chic barn.  At end of the show, the Kaiser sailed down the grassy runway, past lounging models sprawled atop piles of hay. How rustic of you, Karl!

The scene at the Palais was quite the mouth-gaping sight! The thought of editors and other chic elites brushing hay off of their Chanel getups is refreshing, non? The spectacle was a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll, as Lily Allen serenaded the audience. The impressive barnyard reminds us of the tree house of our childhood dreams…we had some fancy designer dreams!
