Katherine Fleming’s Artsy Turn

Art Basel Miami Beach is imminently approaching, and Chic is all about the itinerary. One surefire stop? The Design District’s Moore Building, where handbag designer Katherine Fleming will be selling her Spring 2010 wares and auctioning off 17 or her signature Jane clutches (in yellow python, above). Each will be given a personalized touch by artists Naomi Fisher, Jim Drain, Alejandro Cardenas, Jenna Gribbon, Megan Marrin, Robert Melee, Timothy Hull, Jeff Miller, Alexia Stamatiou, Tom Fruin, Kembra Pfahler, Gordon Hull, KOLKOZ, CONFETTISYSTEM, Scott Reeder, Luis Gispert, Constantin and Laurene Boym. Proceeds will benefit Bas Fisher Invitational (BFI), an organization started by artists Fisher and Hernan Bas that provides emerging artists a venue to present their work in Miami, Florida.
