Katie Couric Set to Announce "CBS Evening News" Exit

While her departure has been rumored for awhile now, breaking reports tell that Katie Couric is prepping to announce plans to to leave "CBS Evening News" sometime this week.
Having been anchoring the nightly program for the past five years, it's expected that Miss Couric will move on to her own syndicated show.
As for the current time, Katie is continuing her job duties with plans to cover the Royal Wedding in London beginning tomorrow (April 26).
