Magarexia: January Issues are Skinnier than Ever

Fashion rags are abiding by New Year’s resolutions of les autres by debuting slim and trim January issues. The culprit? Dwindling ads. Darlings, you all said you dropped a couple ad pages, and it shows. Allure, Lucky, and W all featured 42.  (FYI, Allure carried about 70 in the January ‘08 issue.) Glamour beat the trio by just 10 pages, and Elle topped them all with 67. On to February!
