Midsummer Madness

Last night Ilori hosted an initmate sunset picnic on the lawn next to Central Park’s Delacorte Theater in honor of its  sponsorship of Twelfth Night. After sipping glasses of white wine and nibbling on tiny sandwiches and sugar snap pea salads with mint–all enclosed inside white boxes topped by strands of purple orchids–the select group of fash insiders (think Filipa Fino and stylist Jen Rade) were treated to a laughter-filled performance starring Anne Hathaway. And while the play’s opening night brought out a slew of A-listers (natch), Chic spotted a trio of intriguing celebs including Meryl Streep, Martha Stewart and Caroline Kennedy all taking in the show amongst the hoi polloi virtually unnoticed. But, we are always watching, darlings!
