A Moment With: Henry Holland

Chic Report caught up with the designer (posing with Agyness Deyn above) last night at the Christie’s celebration for its Resurrection: Avante Garde Fashion exhibition to talk about…fashion, of course!
What are you obsessing about right now?
I love vintage clothes and the idea of real vintage. There is so much thrift and you can go around enjoying the hunt, but these are as interesting as art to me.
What’s the oldest thing in your closet?
Well probably my Stephen Sprouse stuff because I buy mostly women’s when it comes up on eBay but there are a couple of men’s pieces and a couple of women’s that I wear. Oh and I have a leather jacket of my dad’s, which he bought in the 60s but it’s quite nice.
What trend would you like to resurrect?
So many! The 20s are amazing, I want the shape, feel and freeness of it all.
Have you ever bought anything at Christie’s?
Oh, god no! I wish I could afford it.
