What was your inspiration this season?
I just wanted things to feel fun and festive. A bit more light hearted and frivolous, but still keep it very luxe and about the woman that I design for that’s a strong woman and a bit tough.
How was it balancing the two shows in the same city this year?
It’s funny actually because the men’s show was supposed to be a presentation, but I had all these problems with lighting and power in my office. It forced me to have a runway show and it was brilliant in the end.
Do you ever regret having your show on the same day as Phillip’s?
It’s easier because being best friends we can grunt and moan together. It’s quite easy to have them the same day.
Do you guys do anything together after it’s all over?
I go to sleep. I’m passed out. He usually has parties. I’m dead asleep.
