Reuters - French fashion house Christian Dior is in no hurry to replace disgraced designer John Galliano as it relies on existing teams for new collections, its head said on Thursday.

The NY Times reports that recent Oscar-winner Natalie Portman (who has an endorsement contract with Dior's Miss Dior Cherie fragrance) is outraged at John Galliano's anti-Semitic comments.

The Daily Beast - John Galliano, fashion’s enfant terrible, has been suspended from Dior after allegedly assaulting a couple in a Paris bar and using anti-Semitic or racist slurs. “Dior affirms with the utmost conviction its policy of zero tolerance towards any anti-Semitic or racist words or behavior. Pending the results of the inquiry, Christian Dior has suspended John Galliano from his responsibilities,” the company said in a statement.
