It’s about time Albert Kriemler gives them what they want. Behold the first collection of Akris bags, which will bow in Spring 2010. The AI is the trapezoidal signature style. It’s accompanied by the Astaire (for travel), the Ava (a carrier), the Amata (a frame bag), and the Alice (for evening). Materials include box calf or soft cervo leather along with woven horsehair. As for colors? “Ecru, cayenne, garnet, slate, mocha, greige, smoke, and black.” Find them at the brand’s Madison Avenue flagship or perhaps…Bergdorf?
