Rachel Ray was hot once and she doesn’t regret it

So many people love to hate Rachel Ray–I am one of those people. But even her own mother has been disappointed by the 40-year old multimillionaire hack. I don’t approve of Rachel because her voice can cut glass and I think she makes lame, crud food; Mom, however, was angry because her grown daughter decided to dress like a 12-year old trollop and pose for a photo in one of the most blatantly misogynistic magazines ever published—FHM. Rachel talked about her decision to do the photo shoot in a recent television interview.
“I think I was 35 at the time,” she tells ABC’s Nightline in an interview airing Monday. “And I thought about it for a while, and I said, ‘You know what? This magazine has as young as 17-, 18-year-olds in hottie bikinis, and these are all actresses, models, pin-up girls. I don’t belong to any even remote club of theirs.’”
“And I thought, ‘If I’m gutsy enough to do this, this is a good thing for everybody. This is the everywoman, here she is,’” she adds. “And I did it, and it was the most scared I’ve ever been, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I’d do it again tomorrow.” [Source]
I will give the girl props for facing a fear but really, Rachel? You in a bra, licking melted chocolate off a wooden spoon is a “good thing for everybody?” Really? Because I think maybe it was just a good thing for attracting males in the 18-35-year old demographic to your cookbooks.
