While Vera Wang mingled with guests at her Mercer Street store opening last night, Chic Report spotted Teen Vogue editrix Amy Astley examining some of the gorgeous baubles on display. “I’m shopping,” she said, laughing while unwinding a piece from a mannequin’s neck. A necklace? A bracelet? Both? ”Can we find out how much this is?” she asked a sales associate. Turns out, $790. But CR guesses that even if it doesn’t turn up on Astley anytime soon, it might make a cameo in an upcoming issue of Teen Vogue. “I’ve got my eye on it,” she confessed, before moving on to mingle. Now we all do!
