Bride Wars is sure to ruin any well-intentioned trip to the theater this weekend, as serious cinephiles will be forced to brave the throngs of chicettes in hot pursuit of a chick flick. Even though  characters played by Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway struggle to score the only available wedding date at The Plaza Hotel, the actresses stage another battle in real life–they compete for the attention of stylist Rachel Zoe. Hudson came out on top at the film’s Gotham premiere last night. She wore a dazzling Spring ‘09 Oscar de la Renta, while Hathaway opted for a more demure black suit.
