A Taylor-Made Event to Prevent

The Candie’s Foundation hosted their 5th annual Event to Prevent last Wednesday night at Cipriani to discourage teen pregnancy. The bubble-gum pink decor was a fairly hilarious juxtaposition with a suit-dominated audience of garment industry types. Seventeen EIC Ann Shoket, in 3.1 Philip Lim, was bursting with pride over current cover girl Taylor Swift. A crowd of Mischa Barton, Dina and Ali Lohan and Katie Lee Joel swayed along to James Taylor’s “Carolina” and “Sweet Baby James.” Seventeen’s former EIC Atoosa Rubenstein (in Scoop) was glowing over her August delivery; the Alpha Kitty is expecting a girl…a Leo, in fact. Meow!
