How refreshing! The models at Sonia Rykiel did not traipse, stalk or power-walk. These girls were smiling, dancing, blowing kisses, and otherwise having a ball on the pailette-strewn runway created in the designer’s Saint-Germain des Pres store. Our picks for most adorable: Tanya Dziahileva (of course) and Magdalena Frackowiak–who is quite a lively dancer, and the adorable Abbey Lee. Iris Strubegger even paused to stroke Hope Greenberg’s textured jacket, and then she gave the Lucky editor a thumbs up. Talk about engaging the audience! Sonia, thank you for lightening things up a bit. Bisous, darling! As Sasha Pivovarova led the girls in a final dance party to “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough,” things were clear–Sonia still knows how to charm her loyal flock of fans, today more than ever.
