What is Jen Rade Doing in an H&R Block Commercial?

Chic Report was flipping through channels last night when we spotted a familiar face–in an unfamiliar place. Jen Rade–stylist to Angelina Jolie (among others), host of MTV’s short-lived Styl’d program, and brand ambassador for eyewear brand Ilori–in an H&R Block commercial (screen grab above). Now, this wasn’t like designer Rafe Totengco’s (credited) appearance in an American Express commercial about small businesses; rather, Rade stays anonymous and quips seulement on the merits of the tax preparation company–no Angelina name-drop, nothing. Is she looking to break into the acting business? Or just making a few bucks between gigs? After all, Angie didn’t hit the Globes. Chic wonders…
