Your Holiday Pick-Me-Up!

The holiday parties abound in full force, but oh, the dreaded champagne hangovers! With so many fêtes one must be prepared for the long haul. And since Chicaholic likes to “party all the time, party all the time, party ALL the time,” we’re turning to the p.i.n.k. Rocks cocktail as the solution to any late-night slump. In lieu of your typical vodka/cranberry, here’s a receipe that will go over easily. With p.i.n.k.’s flavorless caffeine and guara mix, you’ll be in jovial spirits all night long.
p.i.n.k Rocks
1 1/4 oz. p.i.n.k. vodka
Splash of Diet 7Up
Drizzle of cranberry juice
Fill glass with ice, add vodka. Fill glass almost to the top with Diet 7Up, then add cranberry juice and stir. Garnish with cherry.

  • It’s still summery enough to imbibe strictly al fresco. Chef Michael Wurster treated a select set to delicious nibbles at Icon Restaurant’s Courtyard nestled in the W Hotel - The Court last night. But it’s the tart champagne-filled cocktails that caught Chicaholic’s attention (natch) and, as always, we must share the wealth. Should you need an alternative to your usual nightcap, enjoy these.

  • It’s Halloween! How about a cocktail to frighten away the spirits? The folks over at Belvedere have concocted a delicious brew that also looks hauntingly like something Edward Cullen would enjoy. It’s easy to mix and shatters the boredom of a vodka soda. Make a round for your fellow midnight revelers!
